I designed this flyer in May 2017 for Dances of India (www.dancesofindiastlouis.org). Nartana and Asha Prem are a joy to work with. They have an exquisite sense of style and they allow me to use my creativity alongside their incredible photos and brightly colored themes.  For this flyer, I hand-sketched the peacock symbol and then vectorized it so that it could be used throughout the design layout of the program as well. As you can see, the title of the performance was Devi of the Ashes Cinderella in India. In this version of Cinderella, the mice friends are actually a variety of different creatures, one of them being a peacock. This is why we decided to make the peacock a prominent symbol within the design. Besides the peacock instruction, for the rest of the layout I was pretty much given total creative freedom. Nartana gave me all of the photos to see if I could use just a few of them, but I couldn't choose. So I incorporated them all, which she loved.  The photography credit goes to Mike Oransky : www.mikeoransky.com/
